This course provides delegates with the essential skills, information, and correct attitudes to recognize and manage the dangers of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S). Often referred to as "Sour Gas," H2S is a highly toxic, colorless gas that requires specialized knowledge and equipment for safe handling in high-risk environments.

- Detection methods: Onsite and personal monitoring
- Immediate actions during an alarm event
Respiratory Protection & Response
- Physiological effects of H2S exposure
- Escape Breathing Apparatus (EBA)
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Emergency response team roles and face mask fitment
Course Overview
Who can take this Course: Any personnel working in areas where there is a potential for H2S release (Oil & Gas, Sewers, etc.).
Validity of the Certificate: 1 Year
Course Duration: 4 – 8 Hours (Depends on Client Requirements)
Course Certification: Successful participants who pass both written and practical tests will receive certificates in H2S Awareness.
Minimum Qualification: Ability to understand English (unless alternative language delivery is pre-arranged).
